I took Emilynn to the museum, and she LOVED it.  She loved running around and exploring, watching the big kids and trying new things.

Mother's Day

We spent last weekend celebrating Mother's Day at my parents house.  It was a fun day.  It is a blessing to get to be the daughter of an incredible woman and the mother of an incredible little girl!

Colorado Fun

Emilynn and I went to visit the Trammells last week. Emilynn did fantastic on the flights there and back.  I'm hoping it is a preview of our upcoming trip to Alaska.  We'll see...  It was a very chill four days.  We went on a lot of walks, went to a butterfly pavilion, ate good food, and just spent good time together.  Miss them so much, but always good to be together. 

Love this.  Joel - Michael had no idea that I was going to catch a hug...this will be in their wedding videos. :)

14 Months Grown

It was near impossible to get a few pics of Emilynn on Tuesday. She looked absolutely adorable in her dress, but she was determined to play in the hard and even start to run a little. The looks on her face a few times is pure concentration.

Outside Fun

We have spent HOURS outside the last couple of weeks. I haven't been blogging much, so I wanted to catch you all up on Emilynn's adventures. She LOVES the backyard...she will walk around for hours exploring the backyard, playing basketball, sliding, and swinging. We also got a kiddie pool with a slide which Em is close to addicted to. She has always loved water and the pool has just grown her love. Here are a few outside moments...

Mastering steps these days... It took her forever to learn how to walk in the slippery pool and even longer to climb the stairs.

Shed Update

We are making progress on the shed, which I affectionately call the "schoolhouse".  :)  Here are some updated pictures:

So thanks to Ross, my dad, Brad B, Chuck D, and Josh B, we have a roof, shingles, a fully enclosed building with one window in.  The next few weekends will be installing the other window, the AC unit, the door and beginning the inside tasks of insulation, electrical work, dry walling, etc.  We are super excited about getting this finished up.  It has been a great learning experience for all of us, but as you can see by night pictures we are often up til 10pm or 11pm outside working on the building on Saturdays.  My parents have been super dedicated and have made this project possible, along with all of our brothers that have helped.  We're getting there...
