So it has been a week of celebration. Emilynn turned 1 on Thursday. We decided to celebrate on Thursday a little bit and have her big party on Saturday. Here are the highlights from the day!
An early riser...still a little solemn in the mornings...
I made her pumkin pancakes for breakfast. She wanted to grab the candle. :/ But it was fun to sing to her just the three of us.
She enjoyed it a lot!
Then we had some tutu time...love this tutu on her!
So cute!
I bought some tulips for Emilynn for her birthday. She loved looking at them and touching...smelling ends up with licking, so we just touch.
That night we met Obaa, Ojii and Granny at Chick-fil-a and Emilynn had her first kids meal. She had grilled nuggets, fries, and then a dessert! She loved all of it! I wanted to save the kids meal for her birthday.
Obaa made her cupcakes...and boy can this girl eat some icing!!!

Obaa and Ojii gave her her first laptop! And some old fashioned wooden blocks!
