I love love!

We celebrated Valentine's officially on Thursday, instead of Tuesday.  For anyone that really knows me, this is HUGE.  I am very much a girl who likes to celebrate the day of!  It's hard, even if we are having a party for something around the time for me to not do SOMETHING the day of.  This drives Ross crazy.  But this year, not only did I feel a bit icky on the day of, I also had to work and so did Ross.  So we planned a date night for Thursday...but we also just moved Valentine's day.  So the most that I did on Tuesday was dress Emilynn up and we opened a few cards and gifts from Ojii, Obaa, and others...

Then we really celebrated Valentine's Day.  Emi and I got up early and gave Ross a gift in bed (a book about the best daddy ever for him to read to Emi) and I left a note on the mirror for Ross.  That afternoon I iced Ross fresh sugar cookies (his favorite).  He left me flowers and a very special gift of beautiful words and thankfulness.  We went and ate Indian food, got gelato, and then went to the mall to let me pick out my gift.  We had a wonderful night!  Yummy and romantic!

We had a wonderful time.  We need to be more faithful about going out on dates.  So thankful for this man and his heart!!
