A Wonderful Weekend

Last weekend we took a road trip to see one of my old college roommates, a woman dear to my heart and good for my soul, and her sweet family.  Hannah and Justin have sweet Garrett and are expecting a precious baby girl in the next couple of weeks.  It was precious, precious time.  We were so thankful for how the well Emilynn and Garrett played together.  We actually sat in their living room last Saturday afternoon for hours while the kids played and we fellowshipped.  It was so fun!  We shared wonderful meals, told old stoires, new stories and kids stories.  I'm so thankful for this friendship.  Many of my closest friends are far away, and it can be daunting on my spirit, but it was so refreshing to share this time with them that the time apart is worth it for these kind of times.  Emilynn did wonderful on the trip.  She ate her first restaraunt meal ... Mexican, of course.   It snowed and sleeted all the way home on us.  Ross was delighted!!!
